I am crucified daily

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live: yet not I, but Christ live in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we are dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Spot On As We are Nobody Without Christ. With Chris, All Things Are Beyond Possible!

Christians, and all humans- have the same fatal, terminal disease. The difference is this hope and promise, this belief that though we perish, we will live again.

Greetings
I give you these words
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

question what you would sacrifice to bring to the altar of the living God

you missing the point

Hi,
Persecution is proof you are being effective in your ministry.
satan does not persecute false teachers.
In His sermon on the mount, Jesus said:

Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

So, if you are suffering persecution because of your faith, it should make you happy.
That sounds weird.
But Jesus said to be “exceedingly glad” about the persecution.
Why would pain and suffering be something with which to be overjoyed?

Give me your thoughts.
My thought is that there is honor in standing in righteous opposition to evil.
And, like the Klingons say, if your life has honor, it is a good day to die

Blessings
