I am death inside

Hi, how are you? I want to write this to see if anyone can come up with any solutions—maybe we can figure something out; two or more heads are better than one

I come from an abusive family—the abuse comes from my father. I’m 23 years old; I ran away from home two or three years ago, and now I live in the Netherlands. I work until I can’t take it anymore—I’m saving money for my education and to help my mother and my little sister (7 years old) so they can get out of my father’s house. But everything seems to be getting more and more complicated; I feel like I can’t take it anymore.

I want them to be free, but it seems impossible.

1. I work to take care of them; I buy them food and save money (for my mother and brother).

2. My mother can’t work because 1) my father won’t let her, and 2) my father took out loans in her name; she has so much debt that anything still in her name or any money she earns from work would be seized by the government.

3. We can’t make many moves because my sister is young—she’s 7 years old. If it goes to court, we’ve already been warned that the following could happen:

A) Custody would be shared (my father doesn’t care about my brother; he’s repeatedly said and implied on numerous occasions that if they get divorced, my sister will end up dead—the court doesn’t seem to care about this)

B) If my mother gets custody—which is unlikely—she would go to a shelter for abused women. She would have 6–8 months for leaving that places and in those months, she has to to find a long term job and achieve sufficient financial stability, secure housing, etc. (We live in a country where is impossible to find a long term job)( How she is gonna do something that for a normal human takes years to achieve? How is she supposed to be financially stable in 6/8 month???)

If she doesn’t manage to do so within 6–8 months, he’ll lose custody of my sister, who’ll end up in a juvenile detention center—we all know what happens to kids in those places; they usually end up turning to crime because of the various influences there.

C) my father gets full custody because he is financially stable, house at his name, etc

Lately my father has decided he wants to move to Belgium, so he’s taking my mother and my little sister with him. In Belgium, it’s easier for a woman to get custody of the child than in the country we’re from (my father doesn’t know this), but for that to happen, she needs financial stability. My father won’t be home often because he’ll have to work—does anyone know how my mother could find a job under the table here in Belgium? (It has to be under the table because, for now, she doesn’t have the proper papers to live in Belgium.) Does anyone know what I can do? Does anyone have any ideas? I don’t feel alive anymore. Is there anyone who can come up with an idea?

I keep thinking about thais: “Even if a thousand fall beside you and ten thousand to your right, they won’t be able to reach you”—that’s the only thing keeping me going right now.

( Please don’t suggest the government or anything related to that, they can’t help, we already tried multiple times)

How more should I pray? I am not living anymore , my soul left my body month ago, how long is this gonna take? Is there any prayer I can do?

You might try an Internet search of “our missionaries” and Belgium. This might help you find Christians who would be both knowledgeable about the country and laws as well as resources and options.
