I don`t think Jesus was completly honest

All my life, I’ve always tried to do the right thing, I’ve always been kind. Sometimes I find myself in a state where I’m trying to do the right thing, kind of out of the blue, it’s not me who does it, it’s something inside me. It’s often embarrassing in retrospect because I had no control over it in a way.

They say DNA thinks and makes decisions, I don’t know if it is, but there’s something inside me that I experience as God then, so I don’t think Jesus was completely cool with God being something outside of yourself, even though it says in the Bible that he said that God is inside you. I think he used it a little to get to know you. This thing that’s inside you then, it’s neither supernatural nor has power over the universe other than that it can influence people through you, but it’s definitely alive. I feel like it’s something alive.

Jesus was probably violent once in this temple too where he said that people shouldn’t turn it into a gambling den, or at least had an outburst where he used a whip made of leather straps. It is known that he lost his temper once too. I do not mean that he was violent, probably a bit exaggerated, but I know that the Romans had an emergency meeting about him and had him crucified after that episode in the temple.

What I have found out about this thing that is inside me, is that love is the greatest, even if it feels like you are being stupid sometimes and losing control, it uses me to show love. It is inside us all, some have it stronger.

I think Jesus and the church have used it a bit to get known, it appeals to people who want to sin, because they can get forgiveness, but since it is only inside you, it is perhaps not so much about forgiveness, but that you miss out on the good things in life. What I experience myself is that if I am in pain, I can pray inside myself and get better, and that even though the outside world may be hard, life can still feel like paradise thanks to what is inside you.

I can give another example, when I was 15, I wanted to sing and I was surrounded by Christians, but since I wasn’t a Christian myself, I wasn’t good enough. I’ve sung a lot since then, but it never worked out with that group, it shows that Jesus and the church are more for sinners, I have nothing against that, I also think that it’s a bit like that if you just do what you want your whole life and sin continuously, then you won’t necessarily get forgiveness in the end. It’s a question of how far you’ve gone.

But as I said, I don’t believe God is either supernatural or outside your body, it doesn’t have power over the universe, but it can influence people through you. I also think that Jesus used this to get known. It may sound strange, but there is definitely something inside you that thinks and makes decisions

First, welcome @Frank85. Glad you are here. I believe you are mixing a few distinct spiritual concepts. Namely, the tension between our fallen nature (the flesh), the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the current influence of Satan over the worldly system.

You are right about the internal struggle and the feeling of something driving us that we don’t fully control, but Scripture identifies those forces very specifically. You correctly sense an internal drive that contradicts his immediate will. The Apostle Paul describes this exact battle in Romans 7:15–20.

" For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me."

What feels like an involuntary push, whether toward self-righteousness, loss of control, or worldly reaction, often stems from the flesh, the earthly human nature separated from God. Who Dwells “Inside You”?

You emphasize that God is strictly “inside you” rather than an almighty transcendent Creator. Biblically, God does dwell within believers through the Holy Spirit, but He is not merely a component of human biology or DNA.1 Corinthians 6:19,

" Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,"

The Holy Spirit guides, convicts, and yields true love, joy, and peace. Galatians 5:22–23, but He is the third Person of the Triune God. Transcendent, holy, and distinct from human flesh. You suggest this “thing inside” has no real power over the universe. Scripture explains that while God is omnipotent, Satan currently exercises temporary dominion over the fallen world system:1 John 5:19.

“We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.”

In 2 Corinthians 4:4.

“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

The chaos, hardship, and confusion in the external world exist because the present age is influenced by Satan, but God’s Spirit inside a believer is greater.

“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

You seem to feel the Church favors “sinners” and that you didn’t fit in because you were trying to be good on your own? Scripture teaches that everyone requires grace, not because some are “bad” and others “good,” but because all have fallen short. Romans 3:23. Forgiveness isn’t a reward for continuous sin, but a gift of grace through repentance. Ephesians 2:8–9. Hope this helps you better understand the reality of the situation. It is not as rare as you may think.

If you are coming to look at Christianity from the outside and have trouble even considering who God is, it can be a useful exercise to conduct a logic experiment to conceptulaize a way to look at God. Here is a short article from the blog archive at christianpioneer.com that might be useful.

Whose temple was it?

re read Matt 12:**12 **Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.

If Jesus is who he claimed to be, then his actions were right.

Jesus was totally honest. Those are attacks from the enemy to cause you to doubt God.

Jesus is always honest.
