I found a bible, because my mom wont let me own one!

Yesterday i was looking for my old stuff from when i was 10 - 12 years old, and i found this – a bible my stepdad gave my mom. (which she ripped the first few pages out, but I’ve already read the first 3 pages of genesis)

he left it behind after he was put on a restraining order for domestic abuse, and it still has his name written in it. I’m so happy because not only do i own an actual bible now, but it also has my step dads name written in it. he scared me a lot, but i miss him.

i forgot to mention – my mom is a heavy satanist and witchcraft believer. she says Christians are all “kid touchers and reddit trolls”, so there’s that? i dont know. she even made a blood pentagram with what I’d assume was her own blood, judging by the marks on her leg. But I’m not gonna focus on that – as long as i hide it somewhere good and don’t leave it out, I’m safe.

I’m sorry to hear that you are in an environment that is so hostile to Christianity and the Bible. Praying you are able to read the Bible freely and be part of a Christian community that encourages you in your faith and spiritual growth.
