I am scared of falling away, I reject falling away, I reject being evil,
wicked, vile, and abominable and departing from Good.
I have been continuously being a glutton, idolator, and disobeying by not fasting.
I want to stop all of the sins and disobedience and fast.
I am terrified the chance to fast and be obedient have passed.
I am being attacked by evil to leave the faith and embrace evil and hell and do wickedness.

Am I capable of being saved? I am attacked with evil, wickedness, vileness, and abominableness consistently and the things try and coerce me to do evil, wickedness, vileness, abominableness, blaspheme Holy, tell me whom to be, and harass me endlessly, trying to beat me into submission and cause my body to move and speak things through me, wherewith are not me never were. evil wants me to think I canât reject being evil, wicked, vile, and abominable and being any is Godâs Judgement and âdo it anyway God will save you,â wherewith are lies.
No one who comes to Christ in repentance and faith is turned away. âWhoever comes to me I will never cast outâ (John 6:37), and âeveryone who calls on the name of the Lord will be savedâ (Romans 10:13).
I would give you some sound Biblical advice; however, you never seem to respond to anyone, so Iâm not totally sure if you really want it. However, I will try one last time. You have to get your mind in the right place. Forget what the world tells you is right and wrong, grey, or acceptable. Start learning, or relearning, what God says. The World is a world of flesh, and the things therein are for the flesh. It is opposed to God or anything Spiritual. As Paul wrote to the Churches in Rome in Romans 12:2
âAnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.â
You must learn how to âwalk by faith, not by sight.â {2 Corinthians 5:7} To listen to God, To trust in God. To understand His Word. If you claim that you are a follower of Jesus, then should you not be following Jesus?
You have a source to go to. Pretty hard to think, âWhat would Jesus do?â If you have no idea who Jesus is.. Right? Or, what does God think about this or that, if you have no idea who God is? God is not a total mystery. He tells us plainly what He thinks. He tells us plainly what He is opposed to and what He loves. Think Exodus 20. Think John 3:16. So on and so forth.
Now you know, and now you can learn; you must start to focus on these things. One of the hardest things for a new child of God to do is overcome the cares of the world. So much so, that it can take away the very blessings that God wants to bestow. You see, even though you are a new creature, you are still living in the flesh.
The flesh is always subject to the things of the flesh. The flesh is always subject to the physical world. We are still in the world. However, now as a child of God, we are no longer OF the World. This can be a hard concept for some to understand.
When you start to think about something, play it over and over again in that movie theater of the mind, you allow the good or the temptation to take hold. Letâs say you were an Alcoholic. Or a Smoker. Or someone who used to look at Porn. You give it up. You really want to remain free of this bondage in your life. God sets you free from it. Yet, when you see a commercial, a movie, or an advertisement in a magazine, it puts an image in your head. Does that make you revert to it? No. How you choose to deal with it is what matters.
You could immediately reject that thought, cast it out of your head. Or, you can dwell on it. Remember how much fun you think you had when you were doing these things. You remember the taste, the feelings, the âgood timesâ with friends or whatever, that you can associate with them.
Then your mind will start telling you how good you have been, and that there is nothing wrong with one cigarette. There is nothing wrong with one beer. People smoke and drink every day. There is nothing wrong with checking out just one picture. No one will know. Then you do it. One leads to two, leads to you being right back where you started.
You see, the result of sin is death. According to Galatians 5:19-21
âNow the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.â
The works of the flesh manifest, which means the thoughts you are having become actions. Those actions become sin. That sin keeps you from the promises of God. But if you allow your thoughts to be on good things, these are manifested into good things. Continuing in this same passageâŚVerses 22-26
âBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christâs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.â
Just like feeding your body, garbage in, garbage out, when you feed your mind, your spirit, what are you feeding it with? What you put in there is the type of thing you will receive out. Plant tomato seeds and expect to get watermelons? Of course not. Eat a bunch of candy and expect to be healthy? Of course not. Feed your spirit and mind with drugs, alcohol, porn, and negativity, and expect to grow in the faith of a Holy God? Of course not.
Guard your mind. Guard your body. Be the child of God that God wants you to be.

That is a proclamation. Thatâs good to speak this way. Scripture says the tongue has the power of life and death in it, and remembering, when Jesus spoke there was a literal creation, so yes spoken words carry more spiritual power than spiritual thoughts. APOSTASY (APHISTÄMI)
The Greek term aphistÄmi has a wide semantic field. However, the English term âapostasyâ is derived from this term and prejudices its usage to modern readers. Context, as always, is the key, not a preset definition.
This is a compound term from the PREPOSITION apo, which means âfromâ or âaway fromâ and histÄmi, âto sit,â âto stand,â or âto fix.â Notice the following (non-theological) usages:

Modern believers ask many theological questions that the NT writers would have never thought about.
One of these would relate to the modern tendency to separate faith (justification) from faithfulness (sanctification).

New Testament
This Greek term is literally âto apostasize.â
The Old and New Testaments both confirm an intensification of evil and false teaching before the Second Coming strong text(cf. Matt. 24:24; Mark 13:22; Acts 20:29,30; 2 Thess. 3:9-12; 2 Tim. 4:4).
This Greek term may reflect Jesusâ words in the Parable of the Soils found in Matthew 13; Mark 4; and Luke 8. These false teachers are obviously not Christians, but they came from within (cf. Acts 20:29-30; I John 2:19); however, they are able to seduce and capture immature believers (cf. Heb. 3:12).
Those who are seduced share the same fate as the false teachers themselves.
The theological question is, âWere the false teachers ever believers?â This is difficult to answer because there were false teachers in the local churches (cf. 1 John 2:18-19; see SPECIAL TOPIC: FALSE TEACHERS). Often our theological or denominational traditions answer this question without reference to specific Bible texts (except the proof-text method of quoting a verse out of context to supposedly prove oneâs bias).

We rarely think about these texts because our systematic theology (Calvinism, Arminianism, etc.) dictates the mandated response.
Please do not pre-judge me because I bring up this subject. My concern is proper hermeneutical procedure. We must let the Bible speak to us and not try to mold it into a preset theology.
This is often painful and shocking because much of our theology is denominational, cultural, or relational (parent, friend, pastor), devotional, not biblical (see Special Topic: What Does It Mean to âreceive,â âbelieve,â âconfess/profess,â âcall uponâ?). Some who are in the People of God turn out to not be in the People of God (e.g., Rom. 9:6).
I would just add that perseverance is as crucial a NT doctrine as is assurance.
