IF YE OBEY MY VOICE INDEED
Text: Exodus 19:5 which says,
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (KJV)
The word "If ye obey my voice indeed" emphasizes the importance of obedience to God's commands and teachings. This concept is woven throughout the Bible, highlighting that true faith manifests in action.
It is demanded of us to always obey the voice of the lord. If a child of God is not ready to obey the voice of God that child is bound to fail. We can become a peculiar treasure to God if we obey His voice. When we present ourselves to the almighty God and obey his commandment and do His perfect our lives will never remain again through Christ Jesus. Exodus 19:5 illustrates that obedience to God’s voice is linked to a covenant relationship. It implies that listening and adhering to God’s instructions lead to divine favor and a special status among his people. To obey God’s voice is an active expression of faith. It invites us into a deeper relationship with God, one that relies not only on hearing His voice but on actively responding to it. As we strive to obey, we find ourselves entrusting our lives to His guidance and enjoying the blessings that come from living in harmony with His will. In doing so, we reflect our love and commitment to Him, becoming partners in the work He has for us in the world.
In conclusion, obeying God’s voice and his commandment is a very important thing that every believer should do.
