If you could lead anyone to Christ, who would it be and why?

This could be current, a historical figure, someone famous, close to you, anybody.

For me I would want to lead my friend Ethan to Christ, He helped me get sober and formed part of who I am, he never accepted God, he died in front of me in 2023, from cardiac arrest. He was 28 years old and a genuinely good person, just born with a heart defect.
I truly wish I was able to bring him away from his denial.

look forward to seeing your responses
God bless

I’m really sorry about your friend. That sounds like a very hard loss.

For me, I think it would be someone close to me too. Not because they’re a bad person, but because you care about them and want them to experience something meaningful.

At the same time, I’ve come to feel like it’s not always something we can control. We can care, we can show it in how we live, but people come to their own conclusions in their own time.

For me it would be my dad. He’s nearing the end of his life, and has so much regret. It pains me. He wasn’t a good dad but I forgave him long ago, and I just wish that he could find the healing for his heart that he is searching for..in Christ. I don’t mention my faith to him much anymore, only because he is so closed and hurting, so instead I just tell him that I love him and hope he’s doing well. He lives 2 provinces away (2 states if you’re in the US) so I don’t see him often. Once or twice a year maybe, but he’s online so I send him messages. But I pray for him. That’s about all I can do right now.

At this time, the person I’m most concerned about is a homeless fellow who goes by the term vagrant. The term is his choice. He’s in bondage to a few things, but doesn’t see it at all. I know that all things are possible for God and there’s many people who seemed beyond hope that have come to Christ. I’m praying he will be included in that number.

Jesus says this: ā€œwhen you do this to the least of my bretheren, you’ve done it unto meā€

Your freind helped you and didn’t even know he was help Christ in you. The Lord will consider his heart. Know this, that even now, pray to the Lord to take him under His grace unto everlasting life.

I wish I could lead my ex. She claims to be a Christian, but her evil deeds, unforgiveness, and hatred tell me she has yet to encounter our Savior. I blame myself for never being the leader she needed.

I am thinking of someone in my family who knows about Christ but has not truly trusted Him…

Not because famous people do not need salvation, but because Scripture places such weight on our own households and neighbors…

The ā€œwhyā€ is simple: eternal life is found in Christ.

The New Testament does not typically say we ā€œleadā€ people to Christ in a causal sense. It speaks of:

Proclaiming (ĪŗĪ·ĻĻĻƒĻƒĻ‰, euangelizō)
Bearing witness (μαρτυρέω)
Making disciples (Matt 28:19)

If by ā€œleadā€ you mean introducing, pointing, persuading, and calling to repentance and faith, that’s biblical.

If you mean effectually bringing someone from death to life, that is the Spirit’s work alone.

No I mean bringing a Non-believer to faith

Besides family members, I would choose a homeless guy I hang out with at times names Stephen. He’s in bondage to a few things and follows his own moral code.

What I posted includes non-believers.
