it is not bad or shame or anything bad to get help. look for insurance companies coverage and look for low cost / free option. look for low cost therapy too. Please get help. You are blessed and loved.
But what about those who don’t have access to help? for example, My mother was recently diagnosed with severe breast cancer – and is paying more for her medical bills than my psychotherapy. And 988 doesn’t work, either. last time i called them, i was almost arrested for a suicide “threat”.
I know it’s common sense to get help for Mental Health issues. But i just want to remind you that some people physically CAN’T get help. plus, some diagnoses are uncurable. for example, i have Bipolar Disorder – my brain functions on impulse, action and emotion, and my adrenaline is normally up. not even medications can erase it.
I am so sorry for what you said. I am really sorry for your mother. the healthcare system is already broken. Did you try any low cost therapy like open path collective therapy, costs range from $30 to $70 per session, depending on the therapist, with a one-time membership fee of $65 , or any online therapy that is low cost? I tired to help with information. @Mr.max1192025
yes, but due to the prices, i only get 1 session every two months. i would say i need a psych ward, but the only behavioral hospital in my area is the one i was sexually assaulted at. so that’s not the safest option.
i am in simple, behavioural therapy – but i have very few sessions and help due to prices.
