Do they have an obligation to attend your church?
Of course not. Although, it would be nice if they did.
Some folks feel like they lost a soul if said soul that was won chooses to worship elsewhere.
I dislike the “body count” mentality that some people and some churches have. Soul winning isn’t a competition.
Maybe not going to your church, bit personally I think it’d be nice if you could disciple such a person just until they get strong in the faith.
Luke chapter 15
Parable of the lost son
Body of Christ, those in postion to plant seeds. There shepherds. Our job is to plant seeds for God. Its sharing God’s word.
Unless the wicked repent and convert to God’s standard, three headed to sheol.
James chapter 6
Brethren, if any of you do err ffom the truth, and one convert him.
Let him know, that he which convert the sinner from their error of his ways shall save soul from death.
Satan wants God’s children under the same penalty he’s under.
The shepherd’s work hard to try to plant seeds. What they do with the message is there business.
We can’t force anyone to love God, and repent.
Those who have free will, have choice to follow Jesus or Satan.
What does this have to do with the topic?
I’m trying to plant seeds.
I documented it.
I guess you don’t like me.
I’ll keep plowing.
Peace.

Please try to stay on topic.
This is off topic. Pleas reread the opening post
Sometimes, when I think about leading someone to Christ, my heart swells with joy. However, the question of whether they have an obligation to attend my church is a little complex. Faith is deeply personal, rooted in the relationship with Jesus that begins the moment someone accept Him into their heart, as (Romans 10:9) reminds us.
While my church can offer support and fellowship, what matters most is the individual’s connection to Christ, who is with us always. The one I’ve contributed in leading to Christ, is that person’s faith journey that is unique to themselves. I make it the utmost importance to encourage one to find a place of worship that resonates with them. If they feel loved and inspired in a different community, that’s perfectly okay!
Nurturing their relationship with Jesus is what truly matters in the end. I love to celebrate and support that individual’s journey, wherever it leads them. I strive to always keep them pointing towards the enduring love of Christ.
Leading someone to Christ Jesus is a great accomplishment.
You must also lead that person to a fellowship of a church to grow.
So the question is, can your church, help such a person to know God through Christ Jesus and the love of God?
Can your church, help that individual grow in Christ and walk in the promises of God?
If yes, you can recommend that individual to attend and join your church.
