I’m new. Before I choose to stay, I have a question.

Is the majority of the people on this forum, either progressive Christians, liberal Christians, leftist Christians, secular progressives, secular liberals, secular leftist or something else; when it comes to values?

First, welcome @johnjames4, Glad you are here. To answer your question, I believe that you may find any of the above here at any given time. We share, discuss, and even debate. This is how we learn and grow. As long as you believe that Jesus

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

And believe that the Word is the final authority.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16

Following what it says, believing in Jesus,

" For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." John 3:16-18

Then you are a child of God. I’m not sure the reason for the question, but there you go. Is there a more specific question you would like answered?

I was new 5 months or so ago. I can’t answer your question because I’m unfamiliar with the labels. I would say that there’s a unique bunch here; some mature, some new, some of this persuasion and some of that persuasion. I’m sure whatever you’re persuasion is, and as long as you are a child of God through Jesus, you’re very welcome here.
I should add that even if you’re not a Christian, you would still be welcome.

these very well sum it up. and the final quote, is my favorite part. i see a few christian forums that are very narrow-minded about who can speak freely. this one is really different, in that it’s not narrow-minded about people getting to stay and talk, even if their views would be considered fringe or incorrect by many other christians. in coming here, you found the best christian forum, in my opinion. i hope youll see the same things i do, and decide to stick around!
