Christian Youtuber and ordained pastor Mike Winger explained in a four-hour video that he affirms “Scripture when it says to test all things [and] hold fast to that which is good, that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, that there will never be fakery in the Christian church,” but he does not have confidence in Benny Hinn. He is especially concerned about Hinn’s repeated actions, such as exploiting the poor and continuing the same practices he publicly apologized for in 2019. Winger also points to Hinn’s growing influence in places like Africa as a reason for raising a “red flag” and issuing warnings to others.
