10 year olds know Israel served the true living God. How come you don’t?
Attacking a person’s character or personal traits instead of addressing their argument or question is called an ad hominem fallacy. Derived from Latin, it translates to “to the person” and is a diversionary tactic used to undermine an opponent personally rather than addressing the actual issue.
Address the issue
6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
So looking at the passage for what it says…There is one true God…why would He have to explain things outside of what He is pointing out. For example if you were talking about drinking water compared to tap water would you also be explaining how water could turn into ice and be snow depending upon the atmosphere? Of course not. Jesus being the way to the Father does not nullify that He is divine, and the face of God in the flesh.
@Corloves13, I care about the content much more than the “formula.” Jesus says “name,” singular, saying that God is one, along with the three Persons, including himself, in that one God. What a mystery God is beyond our full comprehension!
God sent his son( John 3:16= God did not come down here.
10 year olds think they know a lot of things. So perhaps one day you too will learn the errors of your youth. I will pray to God that the Holy Spirit matures your mind enough to accept His Word and not the false teachings of the infantile psudo-religion you have learned. And I will do it in Jesus’s name.
Whatever God makes you happy about is amazing.
Not sure of what you mean by content and formula.
But I expressed to you previously that the “name” is speaking of reality
Like experiencing God presence.
I pointed out scriptures where the name is associated with reality.
I would love for you to speak to that point in bold..did you not agree?
This is how He tells the disciples to immerse (baptize, associate them with) by teaching them to observe all the things I commanded you…
Heres some more info below I found that may help with the understanding of “name”
. The Name in the Tabernacle/Temple (Presence)
** Deuteronomy 12:5 (CSB): “But you are to seek the place the Lord your God chooses from all your tribes to put his name there for his dwelling—you are to go there.” (This establishes that God’s name is His presence in the sanctuary).*
** 1 Kings 8:29 (NIV): “May your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, this place of which you said, ‘My Name shall be there,’ so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place.”*
** 2 Chronicles 33:7: “He even set a carved image… in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, ‘In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen… I will put My name forever.’”*
2. The Name Representing God Himself
** Exodus 23:21 (NKJV): “Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him.” (Referring to the Angel of the LORD, indicating God’s presence is within the messenger).*
** Psalm 20:1: “May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you.” (The name acts as a shield, signifying active presence).*
** Proverbs 18:10: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous man runs into it and is safe.”*
3. The Name Signifying God’s Presence with People
** Numbers 6:27: “So they shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”*
** Ezekiel 48:35: “…The name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE [Jehovah-Shammah].” (This explicitly links the naming of a place to the reality of God’s presence).*
** Jeremiah 23:6 (NIV): “…This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteousness.”*
4. New Testament Fulfillment (Jesus)
** Matthew 1:23: "…They shall name him Immanuel,” which is translated ‘God is with us.’”*
** Matthew 28:19: “…baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (The presence of the Triune God).*
** John 17:6: “I have manifested Your name to the people whom You gave Me out of the world…” (Jesus revealing the Father’s presence/nature).*
In summary, the Name of God in these contexts is not merely a label, but a designation for Yahweh’s manifestation among His people.
When you find out the hard way, you will know i was the one who cared about you and tried to help you.
I have seen enough to see that the very being you deny calls for your return. So let me ask you, Who has fooled you, who has tricked your very being into this falsehood?
You are not contending for the truth of God. You are contending against the God who has revealed himself. You claim to uphold monotheism, yet you do so by denying what God has plainly made known about his own nature. This is not reverence. It is rebellion clothed in religious language.
You say you are not denying Christ. But you deny who Christ is.
You cannot separate the name of Christ from the nature of Christ. To confess him while stripping him of his true identity is not faith. It is contradiction. You claim to believe in Christ, yet you deny that he is fully God. That is not the Christ of Scripture. That is a different christ altogether.
Scripture is not silent. The Father is called God. The Son is called God. The Holy Spirit is called God. Yet there is one God. This is not a contradiction to be corrected by human reasoning but a revelation to which we must submit. You do not have the authority to accept one portion of that testimony and reject the rest. That is not submission to Scripture. That is judgment placed over it.
When Thomas stood before the risen Christ and said, “My Lord and my God,” he was not corrected but commended. When John declares that the Word was with God and was God, he is not speaking symbolically but truthfully. When the Spirit is lied to, Scripture says that God himself has been lied to. This is the unified witness you are resisting.
You are not preserving the oneness of God. You are redefining God.
The issue is not whether you use the word Trinity. The issue is whether you accept what Scripture reveals. The doctrine of the Trinity is not an invention of the church. It is the unavoidable conclusion drawn from the whole counsel of God. One God, three distinct persons, each fully and eternally God.
If you deny this, you must diminish the Son, reduce the Spirit, or divide the unity of God. There is no fourth option. That is precisely what you have done.
So do not say you are not denying Christ. You are denying him at the level that matters most. Not his name, but his nature. Not his existence, but his identity.
And a christ whose identity is false cannot save.
If he is a creature, then his obedience is finite. His sacrifice is finite. His worth is finite. A finite being cannot bear infinite wrath. A finite mediator cannot reconcile sinners to a holy God. What you are left with is not the gospel, but a powerless substitute that leaves you in your sins while offering the illusion of hope.
Scripture speaks without compromise. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father. This is not secondary. This is the dividing line between truth and falsehood, between life and death.
So the call is not to refine your terminology. The call is to repent.
Repent of placing your reasoning above the Word of God. Repent of diminishing the Son. Repent of resisting the testimony of the Holy Spirit who bears witness to Christ.
Believe what God has said. Bow before the Son as Lord and God. Trust in him as the only sufficient Savior.
Anything less is not Christianity or the truth. It is another gospel a lie. And as the apostle declared, those who proclaim another gospel stand under a curse.
Question have you been born again?
Your translations are altered=100% fact. All done from Catholicism translating of the 4th century as are all existing Greek manuscripts of NT=Sad they mislead to destruction.
Aside from the fact that many have labored in Hebrew and Greek with far greater rigor than you or I, your claim is not an argument. It is an accusation without proof.
You say the translations are corrupted. Then demonstrate it. Show from the text where doctrine has been overturned. Show the lexical error, the grammatical distortion, the manuscript evidence. You have not done this. Instead, you appeal to suspicion and call it certainty. That is not exegesis it’s evasion.
The New Testament was not handed down through a single channel that could be quietly altered. Its manuscripts are early, numerous, and spread across regions. Their agreement is not the mark of conspiracy, but of preservation. To claim universal corruption is to assert that the text was altered everywhere, in every stream, and that the original vanished without a trace. That is not a serious claim but a convenient one.
But the real matter does not end with history or manuscripts.
But that your position strikes at the character of God.
If God has spoken, and if he has entrusted his word to his people, then to say that it has been fundamentally corrupted is to say that he either could not preserve it or would not. Scripture leaves no room for such a conclusion. God does not fail in what he reveals. He does not lose what he gives. His word endures because he upholds and preserves it.
You dismiss those who copied, preserved, and translated these texts, many of whom did so at the cost of their safety and their lives. That dismissal is not only historically empty, it is morally reckless. But more than that, it reveals something deeper.
You have positioned yourself above the word of God and God himself.
If the text can be declared corrupted, then it no longer binds you. Whatever confronts your system can be set aside. Whatever exposes error can be dismissed. That is not submission, obedience, faithfulness, or loyalty to God, it is self-exaltation under the appearance of discernment.
And at the root, this comes dangerously close to rejecting the power and work of the Holy Spirit himself. The Spirit is the one who inspired the Scriptures, who bears witness to their truth, and who preserves their testimony among God’s people. To say that the word has been fundamentally corrupted is not merely to accuse men. It is to call into question the Spirit who gave it.
This is not a minor disagreement about translation, but one about the authority of God. This is about whether God has spoken clearly and preserved what he has spoken, or whether you stand in judgment over it.
Even if you continue to stand firm in this falsehood, I sincerely hope and will pray that your eyes and heart may be open and to return to the truth. I have nothing more to state, nor does the word who is God himself need a sinner like me to defend it. He who has ears let him listen.
Welcome to the forums @sryu98. I hope you enjoy our company. Be sure to stop by the Introductions and introduce yourself.
Every scholar on Earth knows Gods name was removed against his will over 7000 spots= a great atrocity vs Gods will. The false religions outright refuse to put it back.
As well The JW,s were allowed into the Vatican vaults=early 1960,s or so, they came out with 100% proof, the spirit water and blood are the 3 witness bearers, Catholicism put the Father, son and holy spirit-Why? to mislead. They weren’t allowed back in for exposing that error.
The Word at John 1:1 is given the same exact word satan gets at 2Cor 4:4)= god, only 2 spots in NT where 2 are called God and god, while the true God at both spots was called a different Greek word=God. If the Word were God he would have gotten that Greek word as well. There are many errors as well.
All trinity translations were translated from the Greek manuscripts, that were done from Catholicism translating.
Evangelical Christian apologist and philosopher Dr. William Lane Craig presents a rather powerful philosophical argument for why the Christian conception of God is vastly superior to the Islamic doctrine of unitarianism that is based on God’s attribute of love. He says:
As the greatest conceivable being, God must be perfect. Now a perfect being must be a loving being. For love is a moral perfection; it is better for a person to be loving rather than unloving. God therefore must be a perfectly loving being. Now it is of the very nature of love to give oneself away. Love reaches out to another person rather than centering wholly in oneself. So if God is perfectly loving by His very nature, He must be giving Himself in love to another. But who is that other? It cannot be any created person, since creation is a result of God’s free will, not a result of His nature. It belongs to God’s very essence to love, but it does not belong to His essence to create. So we can imagine a possible world in which God is perfectly loving and yet no created persons exist. So created persons cannot sufficiently explain whom God loves. Moreover, contemporary. cosmology makes it plausible that created persons have not always existed. But God is eternally loving. So again created persons alone are insufficient to account for God’s being perfectly loving. It therefore follows that the other to whom God’s love is necessarily directed must be internal to God Himself.
In other words, God is not a single, isolated person, as unitarian forms of theism like Islam hold; rather God is a plurality of persons, as the Christian doctrine of the Trinity affirms. On the unitarian view God is a person who does not give Himself away essentially in love for another; He is focused essentially only on Himself. Hence, He cannot be the most perfect being. But on the Christian view, God is a triad of persons in eternal, self-giving love relationships. Thus, since God is essentially loving, the doctrine of the Trinity is more plausible than any unitarian doctrine of God.

What you are asserting is not proof, but repetition of a system that must accuse the text to survive.
You say God’s name was removed. Then produce the manuscripts. They do not exist. The New Testament we have reads kyrios and theos across every stream. To insert what is not there is not restoration. It is alteration.
You appeal to hidden vaults and secret proof. Yet the text is not hidden. It is spread across regions and centuries, examined by many, controlled by none. Your claim cannot be demonstrated, and what cannot be demonstrated cannot bind the conscience.
You argue from John 1:1, yet you misunderstand the grammar you appeal to. The Word is not “a god.” He is of the very nature of God, the one through whom all things were made. A creature does not create all things. Your comparison to satan is not exegesis, but confusion.
You say all is corrupted, yet this is the refuge of your system. Whatever contradicts you is dismissed. Whatever confronts you is altered. This is not submission to Scripture, but standing over it.
And this is the root.
Deny the triune God, and you will not trust the Spirit.
Diminish the Spirit, and you will doubt the word he inspired.
Doubt the word, and you will redefine Christ.
Redefine Christ, and you will preach another gospel.
So the issue is not the raising of doubts, but the refusal to submit when God has already spoken.
There is one God, who has made himself known as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
There is one Christ, not a created one, but the eternal Word.
There is one gospel, not subject to your revision.
Anything less is not Christianity. It is another gospel.
The triune nature of God is the tenet so fundamental to Christianity that if it is shaken, all other doctrines are bound to fall. This is why this core principle must be defended and reminded at all times.
Looks like its more about believing something you’ve said than trusting in Jesus ..
What does it mean to you to be born again, and have you been?
So basically you judged me to Hell…That’s what religiousity produces- judgment…but a relationship produces
love.
I have proved this wrong multiple times. I have asked you questions multiple times, but you never answer. So you see @sryu98 This is all he has. There is nothing we can say to him to help him get to know the truth. I am starting to believe he is just trolling.
Peter
"Psalm 148:2-5 Includes angels in the list of God’s creations: “Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created.”
Who do you think created the angels?
- "Colossians 1:16-17: Indicates that all things—both visible and invisible, including thrones, rulers, and powers (referring to angelic ranks)—were created by Jesus Christ."
So who is He?
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
“The Greek term translated form indicates a correspondence with reality. Thus the meaning of this phrase is that Christ was truly God”
Morphe
Base word Meros= part
morfh morphe -perhaps from the baseword =3313-through the idea of adjustment of parts
Morfh-
1)the form by which a person or thing strikes the vision (; shape; figuratively, nature:-form)
2) external appearance
The divine name kjv came out in 2015-putting Gods name back where it belongs. Here are the sources used to prove it belongs.
Scriptures by the institute for scriptural research— The Exegesis by Herb Jahn— New Englishmans Hebrew concordance by George V. Wigram.
Every bible scholar on Earth knows the name belongs in the bible. With the name back in -proves every trinity religion is false, its why they keep it out.
Simply love this brother.
