Uh, yes, Jesus spoke in a frame of reference for the ones He was speaking to. However, He would not propagate falsehood.
If the group of people I’m talking to were to tell me there is a Big Purple Bunny in the back yard, and if you do not throw carrots back there, it will eat you. I’m not going to say something like “Yeah. The Bunny is bad, and it will eat you, but I have a better way.” No, I would say, relax, there is no Bunny. There is no reason to fear.
But then again, you are saying there is no Hell, even though He is saying there is, yet He is saying there is, even though there is not, simply because they believe there is. Do I understand your point?
ummm, you are the one propagating a falsehood with a silly attempt to say Jesus agreed with what ever his accusers believed. if anything Jesus was trying to correct their thinking.
I’m not being argumentative. I’m asking. I, personally, would feel that being exiled from God would be punishment. A horrible punishment. To be exiled from His love? Ugh. shiver
