I try to stay off social media because it is filled with so much negativity and garbage from Liberals and Conservatives, Atheist and Christians, and Old and Young alike. However I’ve started to learn photography and want to post it online, but I don’t want to get addicted to social media. The good thing is comments photography on social media is not as toxic as posts on politics, religion, or culture. So do you think it would be ok to use social media to post my pictures? What platforms would you recommend?
Social Media is a tool. It can be used for good or other things. You can get information, or you can get porn. You can stay connected to family and friends, or you can try to become an online “god.” Be careful.. If social media becomes more important to you than praying, reading the Word of God, or actually doing things, you may want to take a closer look at what you are doing and your motives for doing it. Remember, if you have accepted the truth, you are a child of God. A follower of Jesus.

Try Instagram. It is a visual platform first. And, I don’t think you’ll have any problem, so long as you are aware always.
