With rising reports of spiritual hunger and church growth, many are wondering: is America due for a move of God? #SpiritualAwakening#RevivalInAmerica#HungryForGod#christianforums#crosswalkforums#forums#crosswalk#faithcommunity#faithforums
Several churches across the country are reporting record Easter attendance, stirring conversation about whether the United States might be on the edge of a new spiritual awakening. From packed pews to revived baptisms, pastors are pointing to a renewed hunger for truth and transformation in a culture that often feels fractured and weary.
But is this momentum a sign of true revival—or just a temporary spike in interest? Are hearts turning back to God, or is it simply a cultural tradition surfacing in uncertain times?
Have you seen signs of spiritual renewal in your own community? What would it take to see genuine, lasting revival across the nation?

Culture is downstream from religion. Our nation experienced revival in 1970, and today the most quickly growing form of Christian worship in the USA is modeled on the rock concert: amplified lead singer, electric music, backup singers, simple, repetitive choruses.
However, the “Jesus Movement” did administer a wholesome dose of skepticism regarding the American establishment, with its docile servants of the status quo, and its sanctioned court jesters who performed in stadiums. This same movement rediscovered God’s eagerness to show up in ordinary places, where ordinary people met wearing ordinary clothes to pray in ordinary voices to the extraordinary God.
The real action started in the 1980’s, when young Christian families suddenly began to wonder if it was a sin to render unto Caesar that which was God’s, the children entrusted to their care.
Today, millions of families raise their own children, and are profoundly skeptical of Caesar’s asserted claims to the hours, the days, the attention, the hearts, the souls, and bodies of their bouncy offspring.
And in the larger downstream culture, the “deep state” is bleeding credibility by the day.
