Israel and Hezbollah: What Does the Bible Say About Israel’s Role in the Last Days?
Recent reports indicate that Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, planted explosives in thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah members. These devices were modified at the production level to include small amounts of explosive materials. On September 17, 2024, the explosives were detonated simultaneously via a coded message, resulting in at least nine deaths and nearly 3,000 injuries across Lebanon and Syria (The Verge). The pagers, manufactured by Taiwan-based Gold Apollo, were ordered by Hezbollah months prior to the attack (Reuters).
With this recent report of Israel’s involvement in an attack targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon, many are wondering how these events tie into biblical prophecy. Israel has always played a key role in God’s plan, and some believe the nation’s actions today could be part of the fulfillment of prophecy.
How do you view Israel’s modern-day conflicts in light of the Bible? Do you think these events have prophetic significance?
