My son-inlaw and daughter became foster parents just hours after getting married. The little boy was an infant at only 8 months. He had not been stimulated and was malnourished. Baby Drayven got fentanyl from his “bios” who were doing drugs. He took seizures, died twice and was put on a ventilator. We feel the system is not upholding written laws to protect him. The system is putting him back in the house with the “bio” mom. The “bio” dad can’t seem to pull it together.
Baby Drayven is almost two now. He loves loves my daughter and her husband and they love him. He bonded with my daughter and her husband. They have been through all Drayven’s milestones and more. Baby Drayven had no bond with the “bios” and still doesn’t. We are highly concerned what this is going to do to Baby Drayven and his own spiritual walk down the road. Baby Drayven is a very very intelligent baby for his age. The doctors have said he is a miracle baby. I believe Drayven was held by Jesus not once but twice. We truly believe that’s why he is a miracle baby and a very unique baby. There are just so many wonderful stories about baby Drayven that I wish there was just time to tell them. Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Baby Drayven and his situation. Thank You for preserving his life and showing Your miraculous power in his healing and growth. Lord, we believe You have a special plan for Drayven’s life, and we ask for Your protection and guidance as decisions are being made about his care.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for those in authority in the foster and legal system. Lord, may they prioritize Drayven’s safety, well-being, and emotional bonds with his foster parents. We ask that Your will be done in his placement, ensuring that he grows up in a loving, nurturing, and Christ-centered home.
Thank You for the love and commitment of Drayven’s foster parents. Strengthen them, Lord, and give them peace and clarity as they advocate for this precious child. Surround Baby Drayven with Your love and shield him from harm. May he grow in faith and knowledge of You, knowing that he is deeply loved and cherished by his Heavenly Father.
