I firmly believe those who produce or distribute this drug illegally should spend their lives under the jail.
However, individual responsibility dictates that users are responsible for knowingly using this product. Should long jail sentences be mandatory, or should this solely be treated as a medical issue?
This is a very interesting question…is there any relation to such a thing in scripture?
*Ephesians 5: 18-20 may apply as a warning for substance abuse, but I can’t think offhand of scripture dealing specifically with selling a terrible product other than the witch st Endor and a death penalty for female sorcerers.
It is a bit frustrating because one would think that substance abuse is nothing new in human history. So then, how did Jesus deal with individuals stuck in chronic substance abuse available to them at the time?
He ate with sinners, including drunkards, and was often accused of being one himself because of his close association.
