I have an odd request for prayer, but I would like prayer for my brother, Terry. Years ago he was going to help me out with buying land I owned, but he never completed the payment. I always wondered if he forgot or just never intended to pay me more than half for land that would be worth over 1 million dollars today. I have tried to remind him of our agreement, which was legal, but he continues to tell me there is no money to settle up. This always seemed peculiar to me, as he had previously informed me that he was awaiting financing to purchase the land. I am asking for prayer for Terry, not primarily to settle the debt he owes me, but for him to be honest in his life and business dealings; if he treated me poorly, I am certain he is capable of doing the same to others.
As my parents regretably learned the hard way money is much thicker than blood. My brother recently robbed me of every last thing I had not because he needed it but because he could. He left me in jail alone and hungry out of spite. I would have a lawyer and food had he not done this.
I will pray that both our brothers move towards honesty. just know I feel your pain x10
