Best advice I can give is check out:-
Put your town in the search and then start viewing the churches that come up, web sites.
Don’t be afraid to challenge each church with hard questions by email.
Any church that doesn’t accept questions from its members isn’t worth attending.

First. I would encourage you to pray. Ask God, Where do you want me and my family to go. Second, if you are looking for a church, follow these three rules.
Is it Jesus-centered and Bible based?
Do they accept, or glorify Sin?
Look at their fruit.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, you will recognize them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-20
Make no mistake about it. There are more and more false churches out there. Keep this in mind.
“Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.
By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:7-10
There are great churches out there. God will lead you to one. I will also pray for you @Rabbit318 and your family, that you find one you can grow in faith in.
