I feel that we should give Jesus’ our best in worship, prayer, praise, devotions, and all we have to Him. We will never be able to pay Him back for His Salvation and He constantly forgives us. We should keep the faith like the centurion and honor and worship Him like the woman with the alabaster fragrance oil preparing His body, kissing His feet, and washing them with her tears and hair.
Welcome to the forum! I really like how you’ve brought these two accounts together. What strikes me is how differently the centurion and the woman expressed their faith. The centurion demonstrated extraordinary trust in Jesus’ authority, while the woman expressed her love and gratitude through a deeply personal act of devotion.
Neither approached Jesus believing they had something to offer that would make them worthy of Him. Instead, both approached Him with humility and faith.
To me, that’s a beautiful reminder that faith doesn’t always look the same in everyone. Some express it through quiet trust, others through acts of love and worship, but both can reflect a genuine relationship with Christ.
