Please pray for my marriage. My husband has walk away from God .My marriage has been drifting. My marriage has been full of devision, dishonesty, and infidelity. All I have is his word to stand on.
For the One Standing Alone: But Not Forsaken
Sister, you are not alone in the midnight hour. Your cry rises before the Lord like incense. You are standing in the ruins, but not without hope. You are clinging to His word—and that is everything, because “He upholds all things by the word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3).
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
The Lord draws near to you now, not as a distant observer, but as the Comforter. The pain, the betrayal, the silence—He sees it all.
Malachi 2:16
“I hate divorce,” says the Lord… but He does not hate the one who has failed. He weeps for broken covenants and stands ready to restore what sin has fractured. His hatred is for the destruction of what He joined, and His power is still able to heal it.
Hosea 2:14
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.”
You may feel like you’re in a wilderness, but the wilderness is where the Lord speaks. He is tender toward you. He is speaking. He is drawing you even now.
1 Corinthians 7:14
“For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife…”
Your faith, your prayers, your steadfastness are not in vain. The Lord has placed you in this very place to be a vessel of light in a house that needs heaven’s touch.
Psalm 147:3
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Not just spiritual wounds. Marriage wounds. Trust wounds. Wounds from betrayal and abandonment. Christ binds up what others tear.
You said: “All I have is His word to stand on.”
Sister—that’s not “all” you have. That’s everything.
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
You are standing on something eternal. Something unshakable. Something stronger than vows that were broken by man—because they were spoken by the God who never breaks covenant.
We are praying with you. For your husband’s return to Christ. For the breaking of pride, deceit, and hard-heartedness. For the Holy Spirit to move upon his soul with conviction, clarity, and trembling mercy.
And we pray for your heart—to be upheld, not in your strength, but in the strength of the One who was forsaken on the cross so you would never be.
“I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
Christ restores.
Christ reconciles.
Christ still walks on waves—and He is coming to you in this storm.
Always here.
Johann.
This is nice Johann. Copying this to inspire my brother going through a rough patch in his marriage.
