Dear Father, please take the anger and misunderstanding out of my friend’s heart and mind because I stopped him from taking his own life. It’s been a month since he last reached out, accusing me of breaking my promise not to embarrass him in front of his family. Father, sometimes I question if I did the right thing, as he no longer turns to me for comfort when his anxiety overwhelms him. All I want is for him to live and not hate me anymore. Please give me a sign that he’s healing and no longer suffering in silence. Show him that his time on earth is not ending but expanding, and that he will find peace, love, and support from those around him, including myself, who deeply care for and love him. I pray for peace in my heart and that one day he realizes he was not meant to leave too soon. I will be here, waiting to continue our friendship until you, God, call us back home in your time. Amen

@Charity21LuV, when i saw your prayer, it reminded me of a friend who lost his life I wish I prevented my friends too, i’d rather have him mad and resentful & ALIVE, than not here anymore. Prayers ![]()

Welcome to the forum.
You did the right thing in preventing your friend from taking his life.
He is angry with you and not talking to you, this can be difficult to bear. All you can do is to continue to pray for him and if you know his parents, keep in contact with them.
