Nashville- Should Christians move there?

I keep seeing all this stuff online about Christians moving to Nashville from other places, especially liberal places like California and Colorado. The pictures I see online of their families and properties are amazing and idealistic. (Google Kirk Cameron’s facebook for an example)

So, if God is calling Christians to Nashville, why? Why would leave already dark places darker because all the Christians left? I realize in things like this God only knows.

However, this makes me want to move to Nashville. How could I? I’m 19 and not a lot of money but I feel like I need to get their to experience God

And users who have been to Nashville, what is it exactly like?

Pray. Pray for discernment. Pray for understanding. Tell God your motives to want to leave. See what He says. Seriously. But wait for Him to speak.

He will. You’ll see

There are many factors one should consider about where to live. Obviously the availability of work, a good church, schools and the politics of the local/state government.

for the view of an American Christian see:-Red families v. blue families: which states have the strongest families? | WINTERY KNIGHT

Joanne is telling you right brother. I was wonderfully lucky to have God tell me to move away from Colorado. It wasn’t liberal then, but is now. I praise God so much for moving me here! I said no at first but with some patience and lessons the Lord made me move! I am so glad I left Colorado.

But do you think about those who are in Colorado if they want to become Christian but all the Christians have left?

And if you want to live in Colorado as a Christian, I guess it’s being Christian or Colorado, not both

I lived there a long time. My two sons grew up there As it turned out, I didn’t know at the time that I was a Spiritual leader of the home and have been basically commanded by God to raise them up in the Lord! And I did not. And they had moved out and living on their own before God told me to move away. We had taken them to church some but nothing at home. They did get baptized. But they don’t really believe it and are at that age where they know everything. But? God told me, give your business to your son and move to ohio. I continue to pray for them. And Colorado and the nation’s people. We’re entering some dark times and I personally believe that it’s a wonder that we’re not at war yet. It’s bound to happen. Parachutes in the skies wouldn’t really surprise me at this point.

That’s what scripture says too, that it will be like in Noah’s day, everyone will be buying & selling getting married, it’s business as usual. Then calamity strikes. War, Volcanoes, earthquakes. This country could be annihilated in one day, and I know these things must come to pass, so I pray that He mitigate the death of so many people and have mercy on us as a nation and as a people so that so many people who do not know Him, accidently die in their sins and have no chance of salvation. It’s a good prayer.

I heard from some on youtube was saying that the Lord told them that the enemy is going to Nuke Miami at some point. It’d prolly be easy from a sub off shore from south Florida. Hey if a handful of terrorists with a laptop in a cave in trashcanastan (Afghanistan) can disable all of America’s security and let the towers be Attacked in NY on 9/11 then anything is possible.

Im sorry, but this is bull crud. YouTube is full of these so called doomsday “prophets” are all over YouTube and Instagram claiming God told them that bad stuff was coming. They are not getting it from God, they are likely making it up to get views and cause controversy. Just like that guy from South Africa who claimed Jesus told him the rapture would happen in September and people legit believed him yet nothing happened.

I didn’t say it was true, I said I heard it on you tube.

OTOH, do you think God used prophets in old times? Real prophets? I’m guessing yes. So if God used prophets before, and God doesn’t change, then He probably uses some prophets today. “If” there are real prophets today, how would they speak to people? One at a time on the street? Online where they could put out the message to more people all at once? Of course they would go online.

Now the only way to be able to tell if a prophet is real, is if ity comes to pass what he said would happen. Well the guy who said Miami is going to get nuked, did not say by what date. So how in the world can you reasonably call that nullcrap when you merely don’t know?

Just because a rapture date setter was wrong, everyone is wrong? Scripture warns us to not talk crap about God’s prophets. So I am careful to watch my mouth and not question those type of things on the off chance that it might be real. True enough I don’t know if that was true about Miami. But true enough you don’t enough to call bullcrap on him either. Right?

Either way, if Miami does get nuked then we’ll both know that he was legit. Am I saying he is a legit prophet? NO I am not. Am I calling him out as bullcrap? No way my friend, I am at least wise enough to not do that when I do’t know for sure.

Scripture also teaches us to beware false prophets and there would be many in the last days

Matt 7:15-20 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matt 24:24 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

There is no reason in the world that we cannot question folks who claim they are prophets.

You should not trust everything you see on YouTube. Unfortunately much Christian content I see on YouTube is AI slop, and much of that slop is about dark subjects such as the end times and demons/satan. God tells us to think on good things, not fear monger about the dark stuff.

As far as real teachers on YouTube such as Vlad Savchuk do the same thing. Fear and trying to decode signs. Christian YouTube makes me sick now. They should be focused on the glory and hope of God but instead they focus on evil.

Youtube is full of fake and no good videos! Full of them!. But just for a moment, think if you were God would you use being online and or on youtube to speak to your people, who at the present time, can’t hardly look up from their phones? Most people are scrolling scrolling scrolling and not stopping to pray or anything. SO why wouldn’t God get a youtube channel or whatever to reach these people and have His Holy Spirit toencourage people to click on His videos?

In short, there’s plenty of truth on youtube as well as plenty of lies. I learned over time which ones dont click on and which ones may be something where I can learn anything. I’ve become fond of asking the Lord in prayer to pick out a teaching video for me that can can teach me what He wants me to learn. That would be such a easy thing for God to do. Sometimes the video speaks to me and I go Hmm, and sometimes they slip and I catch them in a lie so know not to watch their crap anymore.

So you tube has more crap than truth, but it does have some very truthful and informative videos. The false prophets know very well that the best lies are couched in the truth, so they will speak a little truth and slip in a couple lies and try to take people down the wrong path, so we do have to be careful.

But! If one stays offline sometimes to be in the word of God reading the truth from the horses mouth it becomes easier to instantly spot bull crap. Lord give us all better discernment.

I don’t. I said most of it is bull crap and there’s a few channels that speak truth.

I haven’t said this much but a few years ago I believed anything Christian online, and it made me a dispensationalist. I was convinced that the rapture was imminent. But then I realized how those videos are not God

I think you can experience God no matter where you are (Pray constantly. 1 Thessalonians 5:17). I don’t blame people, though, for wanting to move to a better place.
