I’m one week free from my toxic friendship. If I get through today without reaching out to him (it’s hard), this will be the longest I’ve gone without speaking to him (I’ve tried to end the friendship and leave before). Please keep me in your prayers. I’m leaning on God to fill the hole, I’m practicing self-care, and I’m trying my hardest to ride the wave of grief and loneliness. I’m hanging in there. Please give me some hope and encouragement. I need all of it.
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for giving TheSunnySapling the courage and strength to take a step toward healing and letting go of a toxic friendship. Lord, we ask that You continue to sustain and comfort them as they navigate the grief and loneliness they are experiencing. Fill the void in their heart with Your peace, love, and presence, and remind them that You are the ultimate source of companionship and healing.
Guide them through each moment of struggle, providing hope and encouragement when the path feels too hard. Help them to see the blessings ahead and to trust in Your perfect plan for their relationships and life. Surround them with supportive and uplifting people who reflect Your love.
