Other Christian forums

I realized this forums is more for discussing theology and prayers for people, not personal struggles and deep questions. The better place for that looks like Reddit’s Christian forums, but those forums are absolutely ruined by liberal trolls and progressive “Christians” saying sin is ok. I’m curious what other online Christian forums your would suggest.

What personal struggles, and deep questions, are you looking to address?

I would disagree.

There are Bible-centred believers here who would have something constructive to share about “personal struggles and deep questions.” Some here have already tried to help you, Josiah.

I’m fairly new here. A bit longer than you’ve been here and I sort of noticed the same thing. But, It’s actually not true. What you are wirnessing (I believe) is the spirit of sloth & laziness at work in our people wherein they are given to post superficial questions which on some level is a distraction from what is important. And personal struggles in this time are very important as you say. The enemy has ramped up evil throughout the world (in case you havent noticed lol) because he knows his time is short. Many people are not responding to it because it is more comfortable to coast that to run. The spirit of sloth.

Now in fairness to the board, there is some very knowledgable and gifted peole here that can give good advice and good answers to questions. They can’t hide that when they post. I can’t name names, but there’s some good people here. Though at this time some may be slacking off when they really redoubling their efforts.

Hang in there man, This is a good place but in a bad time. I’ve been on the Christian forums since 2010 and have been member at many of them. Been booted from a couple, lol. One was because I wasn’t tolerant and accepting of gay pride. which they were lifting up being gay. I only spoke the truth to them?

It’s more I don’t want to be constant having post that may seem deep or inappropriate (such as I was aroused by a shirtless man yesterday or do Christians have to hate people from India because Charlie Kirk did) on this board

Also another thing about the board is there a number of “Christian Nationalist” posts, and while Christian Nationalism may not always be bad, the problem is America is Christian=Speaking Spanish is a sin

Huh? Never heard of that…

You see, this is what I am talking about. See here. No, here I will repost. This is a perfect example.

"You cannot go it alone. “Praying the gay away” does not work. If you are not going to church because you are afraid someone may know you are possibly gay, then perhaps you are not really interested in giving that up.

This may sound harsh. Everyone here keeps giving you sound Bible advice, and you keep rejecting it. Or you make excuses. You talk about writing stories, fantasizing, being turned on by same sex people in various states of undress, not going to church because you do not want them to know. This is not a repentant person looking for a way out. It sounds more like a person who wants to have the sin and God too. That is not possible.

I’m starting to think you are really just trolling here. I truly hope not, but remember there is a limit. There is a time when even God gives you up to the passions of your heart.

" For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen." Romans 1:21-25

Remember, you can fool people, and even yourself, but not God.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” Galatians 6:7

Be careful, my friend. Time runs out. We do not know what tomorrow brings.

“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:6-7

Peter"

Saying you are aroused, but a shirtless man or Charlie Kirk hated Indians, is not deep; it is a sign of trolling. Just because some are not saying what you want to hear, then attacking this board is your go-to. Ok, may I suggest going to Reddit if you feel more at home there? Stop wasting the children of God’s time here who are trying to help you in good faith.
Peter

Thanks for helping me. I’m not trolling. I’m trying to get hope. But not I have no hope. Why do I even exist?

Isn’t your hope in the Lord Jesus? Don’t you believe thaat He died for you?

I believe at least part of your problem is that, you are in an identity crises. You don’t know who you are in Christ. You should identify with the Lord in your speech and proclame it. Look at your posts…you have neen identifying with being gay. Don’t do that?! I dentify with the Lord and the Lord alone and may find that, hey I can resist sin, an just do it (resist it and say No)

I love Jesus. But I struggle with my flesh

Eventually, you have to give up one. You cannot have both.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:16-18

Remember,

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8

You are going to have to choose.

Welcome @GraceDaily. Glad you are here. Is there a topic or a question you would like to discuss?

See how easy that was? That sounds much better. You see, when we speak of the Lord, our focus is not upon ourself or our fleshy desires. The focus is on God. Your identity is with the Lord Jesus now so leave your flesh behind and elevate your spirit unto God and his mercies.

This man who talks in this video touches on identity and he backs everything up with scriptures. Les than 1/2 hour, it’s worth watching.

Theology and prayers are some of the largest threads. But, this should absolutely be a place for people with personal struggles and deep questions. Not every answer needs to be a long theological explanation. I’m sorry if you’ve been given that impression. Please stick around and engage with those of us who are rooting for you. :revolving_hearts::folded_hands:

Ive had a terrible experience at another forum website. Atheist trolls are more welcome there than I was.

We try to be open to all. To a degree. But if their own words and actions show they are not truly seeking Christ, and or, attemping to do nothing but disrupt, then yes, they can and have been removed. But this Forum is here for help, give advice, and to do life together. We can all learn and grow. Welcome.
