Dear Father God, as I grapple with the dismantling & loss of my very recent marriage, due to shocking displays of betrayal, I kneel before your throne seeking Your grace, Your guidance & Your strength to see me through this very hard transition. I plead the covering of Your blood over my life and this situation of spousal betrayal. In Jesus’s name. Amen

Betrayal is a spirit. A way of life. If you wish to overcome Betrayal, make a place for Loyalty in your life. Practice that which makes it impossible for Betrayal to stay in the room with you. The spirit of Betrayal cannot stand Devotion. Or Dedication. Know your enemy. Make no room for him in your heart.
Love, Kindness, Forgiveness can sooth the wounds of Betrayal.
Boundaries, self Love, Wisdom can help to keep you safe. And ask God to grant you the ability of Christ to read a person’s heart. But be prepared for truth that you may not have wanted about those closesst to you.
