Please help prayer ask

I ask for prayer for deliverance from uncleanness please.
And to return from being given over; I have been persistently disobedient and idolatrous.
And, returning to a former life, and the past: former ways, laying with the same kind, homosexuality, being effeminate, an abuser of self with mankind and all the aforementioned entail, and returning to former vocabulary, grammar, language and ways of communicating.

Just pour your heart out to Jesus. Ask him to cleanse you and to fill you with the Holy Spirit and to help remove anything from you that is not from him. God bless you and deliver you. Amen :folded_hands:t2:

Renounce your former ways and repent. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” ~Acts 3.19.

Turn from unrighteousness. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him” ~Isaiah 55.7.

Do not deceive yourself about sin. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind… shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”[1] (~1 Corinthians 6.9–11).

Put off the old man. “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts”[2] (~Ephesians 4.22–24).

Mortify the deeds of the body. “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live”[3] (~Romans 8.13).

Flee youthful lusts. “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace”[4] (~2 Timothy 2.22).

Return to Christ. “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works”[5] (~Revelation 2.5).

Come to the cross in humility. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”[6] (~1 John 1.9).

And cling to the risen Lord in faith. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”[7] (~Romans 10.9).

The call is not partial reform but full repentance. Christ was crucified for sin and raised for justification. Do not return to what he died to deliver you from. Return to him in repentance and faith, and walk in the newness of life secured by his cross and resurrection.
