God, you know we just lost Phebie, I don’t know if you gave animals a place in heaven but if you did, take care of that old sweet bulldog, you gave her a long 14 years, help my mother and step father move through their grief for her passing, and ease some of the burdens they are going through.
God bless the lost, the forgotten, and all creatures great and small.

Praying for you! Losing a pet is so hard. They become such a beloved part of our families. 
The dog I grew up with (in my older high school years) is getting up there, too. He’s been such a good boy—it’s hard to think of his passing.

Thank you both, it’s slowly hitting me, hit my family harder. I am not very good with loss or grief so I tend to block it out, work in progress
