I need prayers for my son. I don’t have a title for my prayer. I pray all the time and sometimes I think I must be praying the wrong prayer, asking God for the wrong thing.
My son is an adult, he’s an alcholic, he was molested when he was in high school, he hasn’t worked in years and I think he’s had a psychotic breakdown.
If someone else’s prayers can be heard then please pray. I just ask God that he finds the help that he so desperately needs.
Praying right now for your situation.
Welcome to our community! I am honored to pray alongside of you today.
Meg
Father,
I lift up Mom and Grandma’s prayer for her son today. Father, please speak to her heart about the truth of our prayers. Sometimes, we don’t know what to say or how to pray - we are at a loss as to how to approach You with our needs and sometimes stunned by what life has thrown at us. But You, God, You are all-knowing. Your Holy Spirit takes our cries and brings them to You. Father, You honor our efforts as we reach out to You for the help we need. Give her comfort today in knowing her prayers are being received by You, Father.
Please bless and heal her son from the scars and hurts of his past and current additions. Father, he isn’t alone. Abuse and addiction run rampant in our world, turning innocent hearts into a mess of pain and scars. God, only You can heal the human heart, and today, we are asking You to heal his heart. Soften his heart and mind to seek You and hear You, God. We pray this in Jesus’ powerful name,
Amen.
