My husband has been emotionally absent for years, he offers no help in any way of running our household and offers zero support to me. I seriously doubt that he loves me at all, but also feel like divorce is not the answer. I pray for an absolute, unbelievable miracle of redemption and beauty from ashes for our marriage. I pray that the Lord would restore everything that the locusts have destroyed in our family and marriage.

Have you seen the Kendall Brother’s movie called “Fireproof”? It’s about a marriage gone terribly wrong and how it was restored to what it had been in the beginning. You might find it helpful in some way. It can’t hurt. It’s on prime and maybe Netflix.

Let me tell you like this girl. He loves you. Now them vowes you took before god are serious. The only way out for you in death and adultery. Otherwise, you would be under a curse of sin. Never finding the happiness we all long for. So be carefull read your bibble remain true. And if he cheats on you ill give you my # lol. Cheer up it’s not that bad.

Hello @Kday89 Welcome to our community. Keep praying, keep reading the Word. Keep going to church. If you are not, start. Living as a Godly woman and a Godly Wife may show him how he is. He may get curious about what you are doing, and who knows, perhaps God will lead him to be a better man. Do not hound, push, or argue. Just be the Child of God you are and show him that it can be so much better.

That’s so tough. I’m sorry you are going through that. I pray the Lord would be working in your husband’s life individually and also in your marriage to bring restoration, and like you said, beauty from the ashes.
