Heavenly Father, we come before you today with thanksgiving in our hearts. Thank you for the past year, for all the blessings, and even the struggles. We recognize that you are in charge of it all.
As we enter the new year, we pray that you are with us. As your word declares, please grant us the supply for our needs, both known and unknown. Please allow all our past sins and foolishness to be forgotten as we move forward. Please forgive all your children, including me.
We do not know what lies ahead in this new year; however, we know you do. You are already there waiting on us. Please keep us safe, from the evil one, the sinful world, and yes, LORD, even ourselves.
For we thank you for life, to life everlasting. For all the power and glory be to you. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
