My son is an ATC (a newbie, his first few months), working without pay during this shutdown, on the opposite coast from all family. Bills are still due. People still need to eat, still need gas to go to a job with no pay, etc. I remind him that God is our Provider. Please pray for him to trust God, be encouraged, and that this shutdown ends soon.

God, we come before You with heavy hearts as our nation faces uncertainty and hardship during this government shutdown. Lord, You are the God of wisdom, peace, and justice, and we ask for Your divine intervention.
We pray for our leaders; that You would humble their hearts, open their minds, and guide their decisions with clarity and compassion. Help them to put aside division and pride, and to work together for the good of the people they serve.
Lord, we lift up all those who are suffering: families missing paychecks, small businesses struggling, and individuals facing stress and fear about the future. Provide for their needs, comfort their hearts, and remind them that You are still in control.
Bring about a swift and fair resolution, Father, one that restores and sustains stability and peace to our communities. May this season of tension lead to greater unity, understanding, and care for one another as a nation.
Through it all, help us to place our trust in You, knowing that You are our ultimate Provider.
