Heavenly Father,
On this Veterans Day, we pause to remember and give thanks for all who have served our nation in uniform. We honor their courage, their sacrifice, and their steadfast devotion to the cause of liberty.
Bless those who have fought to defend freedom; those who stand watch now, and those who have laid down their lives so that others might live in peace.
Grant comfort and strength to the families who carry the weight of absence and loss.
Surround our veterans with Your love and healing presence, and help us, as a nation and in our communities, to show gratitude not just in words, but in deeds, by caring for them with respect and compassion.
May we never take for granted the blessings of freedom and peace, and may we always remember that both come at a great cost.
