Prayer Request: Good evening My name is Mary and I live in Benton AR. I love your devotionals, the way you reach out to people, the way you serve, your mission outreach-and mainly, the way you’re touching my heart. HOWEVER, now am in the midst of my own life turmoil and am requesting your prayer support alongside that of my home church, FUMC Benton. I am the primary caregiver of my husband of 52 years. He is an Alzheimer’s patient and I am in the midst of trying to deal with it the best I can. As you know, the caregiving journey is trying at its very best and all-encompassing and heart breaking at its worst. Not to burden you with the details of our everyday struggles but would like to request your heartfelt prayers. At this point, I need help myself trying to be understanding, kind, gentle, strong, just and resilient. I pray for these things several times a day in addition to asking that the Fruits of the Spirit infuse my heart. I am a firm believer that prayer often will not cure a diagnosis, but WILL give me the strength to get through this. Any help is appreciated! Again, thanks to each of you for what you do. With gratitude… Mary

First off do not go it alone.
Check with your local Alzheimer’s organization or go on line and ask the national group to connect you with local volunteers to baby sit for you while you get out www.alz.org 1-800-272- 3900
Please Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us John 15:1-27 ) send The Holy Spirit to wrap His gentle loving arms around Your daughter and comfort her and encourage her. In Jesus Christ’s loving name I humbly pray. Amen
