I know so many in the South and Southern Plains are bracing for this potentially massive and dangerous winter storm this weekend. I’m right there with you! Praying for safety, compassion, and that we would take the necessary steps to be prepared. Also thinking of my Midwest family and friends dealing with bitterly cold temps. Check on your neighbors and do what you can to help others!

Yes. I live in the North Country on the border of Canada. We are expected to get to -14 F tonight with a high of -1 tomorrow. Then they are talking about a foot plus of snow between Sunday and Monday. I will be burning logs all night.
Father, we come before you with all the thanksgiving we can offer for everything that you have blessed us with. You are the great I Am, and we love you and thank you for adopting us into your family. I pray right now for all those who may be homeless, both in this area and anywhere this storm or other storms may hit. May they find shelter in the hearts of others, be it churches, Firehouses, meeting halls, or even privet residence. May you be with us all, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
