Praying for Peace in a Loud World

With war, politics, and personal stress crowding every headline, sometimes I don’t know what to pray for first. Do you ever get overwhelmed trying to pray for the world? How do you bring global conflict or current events into your prayer life without getting lost in the weight of it?

When the world’s needs feel too big, I return to God’s sovereignty. He already knows, sees, and holds every headline in His hands. I ask Him to bring justice where there is evil, peace where there is war, and truth where there is confusion. That’s all you can do, right?

I pray for believers in hard places, for wisdom in leadership, and for Christ to be known.

Romans 8:26

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
