Hello as a follower of Christ I have battled many schemes of the enemy but there is a constant battle that I can’t seem to win. I have fallen short from the glory of God but I know he is still with me. The enemy keeps pulling me back down and I am running out of strength to keep fighting this entity by myself I pray and pray and I call out to God to help me in this situation but I get no response. Has my Lord forsaken me since my prayers have not been answered.
Feeling Hopeless
Welcome to the forum.
What help and advice has your pastor given you?
How are people in your fellowship praying for you?
1 peter 5:6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen
Tells you to commit your struggles to God.
We do battle in our own strength, but in the strength given to us by God.
2 cor12:
But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
So hang on in there crying out to God, its not that you may fail that matters but that you get up and carry on that matters
