I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but Israel is planning a HUGE gay pride festival. And it’s going be held at none other than the site of Sodom and Gommorah. This is not satire. It is unfortunately real. This is disgusting on many levels. First of all why are they doing a big hedonistic festival during a war? Do you think Iran is just going to be ok with this?
I’m not sure what will happen, but unfortunately the comments on Facebook and YouTube are filled with people saying “God may do it again” “Pray for rain” “get your salt shaker” “Hell is going to be full”
This is just as disgusting as the festival itself. I don’t know why so called Christians are hoping people will be condemned.
Anyway, this post is not to troll. It’s just for curiosity. I don’t know if God will destroy it, Iran will bomb it, or if it will just go on like normal. What I hope is that God will convict the people in the festival of their sin.
the last thing is that this makes it difficult to support Israel. If the Jews were living their to follow their religion in peace, i would have no problem but the fact that half the country is gay makes me not feel 100% in supporting them
The basic thing to remember is that Israel is a secular country, they are no different from any western country. Isreals own census shows that most Isrealies are not religious.
Are you at least disappointed in the nation’s embrace of lgbtq evil? In the literal nation where Jesus lived? And especially since the festival is where Sodom was?

Theologically and politically, your post mixes:
factual reporting about the event,
personal moral objections,
end-times/speculative judgment language,
frustration with Christians celebrating destruction.
Those are separate issues, and you blend them together emotionally.
We ought to pray for the shalom of the remnant in YisraEL.
Our heart for gay people in Israel Tel Aviv in Israel is the gay capital of the Middle East. The fact that people from neighboring countries can come to find safety and freedom to practice their lifestyle is preferable by far to the violence and murder that they may experience elsewhere. But still, more than worldly “freedom” in this life, we long for them – and everyone – to have true freedom in the life to come. Far from rejecting anyone, we want to invite everyone, without exception, to come and know new life in the Messiah.
We will not capitulate to the spirit of the age and say that homosexuality is not a problem to God. That is a lie of Satan, and we do not want anyone to be deceived. Failure to turn away from our sin will cost us dearly, and that is the last thing we want. We refuse to lie by selling a false gospel that will not save, because ultimately, that is not love. But here is true love: Jesus loves us so much that he died for our sin – all of it – so we can be together with him. This is our heart’s plea: Come to the Father! Receive God’s forgiveness and take up your cross to follow Jesus, as we have done. God loves you, Jesus died for you, and we want to enjoy eternity together with you!
The cost for gay people to follow Jesus is high, there’s no denying it. But he is worth giving up everything we have.
“He is no fool to give up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” – Jim Elliot.
What is getting ready to come there to Israel in the middle east will be much worse than gay pride. Jesus revealed that the Nephilim are coming back, and that a spurious Messiah is going to set himself up as God there for the end. That is why Jesus said when His servants in Jerusalem see the “abomination of desolation” standing where it ought not, for those of His to flee Judea, and for His servants in the countries to not enter into Israel at that time.
