I don’t know about you guys, but Rob Reiner’s work was some of my very favorites…The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally…A Few Good Men. This is Spinal Tap!
He wasn’t just part of Hollywood…he helped shape its voice for decades.
As we wait for clarity, I’m pausing to pray for their family and children, for comfort, truth, and peace in the midst of this heartbreaking loss.
I keep looking up at this little shot from the end of The Princess Bride that hangs on the wall by my desk. How can I express what this movie has meant to me? I’m pretty sure the first time I watched it I said “this is my new favorite movie” as this shot shown on the screen. It’s a movie that brought my family together countless times (and will continue to!) What a devastating loss. Their family, especially their daughter, will be in my prayers
Oh wow. I actually didn’t realize that he was the one who gave us all these films. The Princess Bride will always be a favorite. Such a classic. I was enthralled with it since I watched it for the first time with the parents of the kids I was babysitting for. The kids went to bed, and since I was sleeping over because I was babysitting late, they put a “big kid” movie on. Now I want to watch it again right now!
