Salvation and the Kingdon of God

Hello eveyone , I’d like anyone’s take on the Kingdom and Salvation. I’d like to get a discussion started about the Churches understanding about their role in the Kingdom and why hasn’t it been a topic of discussion for the Church.

Hi, I’m starting to think about it, and this Sunday in our little House Church I’ll be sharing about how understanding Kingdom principles is important when it comes to seeing the Holy Spirit in the Church today, and particularly with regard to healing. I am far from understanding all of it, I’m on the start of my journey, but the Holy Spirit has increasingly put the Kingdom of Heaven into my mind.

It seems to me that when Jesus was demonstrating his Kingdom power and Kingdom authority when he was healing all those who came to Him, it was a sign to unbelievers that He had Kingdom authority, that his words were true, because they were backed up by his deeds.

I experienced healing before I became a Christian, as a result of the simplest prayer to Jesus. It was a key step in my faith journey.

A good place to start is a study of all the Kingdom of Heaven references concerning Jesus’ ministry and teaching, it opens up our understanding.

My Pastor speaks frequently about God’s Kingdom, Kingdom Realities, roles in the Kingdom, etc. Churches need to have rules (the law) but also be spirit led, and ministries to help the poor and less fortunate. However most churches get stuck on one of the three areas, or let one area dominate. I was raised in an extremely rules based church, that leads to being fear based. Churches that are overly focused on the spiritual aspects, tend to be very emotional but lack substance and understanding of how the law was given to help us live better lives. Those that overly focus on charitable works and social justice, are basically just idiots.
Most denominations tend to be more rules based. Denominations are created by man, and we are taught all things built my man eventually fail. That’s the problem with denominations. Nondenominational churches lack the structure to ensure leadership has a true depth of experience and faith to address difficult situations and relationships.
The denomination churches are shrinking, but nondenominational churches are expanding. Our Pastor is also my business coach (I have a number of companies), we covered this topic yesterday morning as part of our weekly coaching in helping me run my companies with more of a kingdom mindset.
