Hey i seriously need help im very scared of the rapture, i sometimes have a very strong feeling of it being like tommorow and that i dont have enough time to fix my faith. Im also not confident of getting into heaven since i feel like my faith is not 100% yet and im also deadly afraid of going into hell the term spending 1 trillion years in hell and not be a second closer to being done is so scary. i also havent really felt the peace God gave me and the love he gave me i dont know what to do

Those who don’t believe, don’t worry about a rapture. They don’t believe in God or hell or any of that, so why would they worry. The fact that you’re concerned means you believe, although being concerned and worried about it is not the answer. So ask yourself: what does the Bible say about salvation? What does it take to be saved? Is it a bunch of good works or a strong knowledge of the Bible? No! It’s believing in Jesus. Take a look at the man on the cross beside Jesus. What did he do that Jesus would say, “Today you will be with me in paradise.” He wasn’t baptized. What he did earned him the cross. What he did is believe that Jesus did nothing to deserve the cross and that a kingdom awaited him. That, my friend was enough.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

**17 **Pray without ceasing…./KJV

Our Sanctification is done by the Lord…while we are in His presence! So you not only must be saved and born again, you have to know HIM and not just know a lot about Him. It is when you do, you will be transformed inside of you. You will be more spiritual than you once were. I wanted this so bad, and I realized that it says pray without ceasing… so I thought, oh ok talk to Him all day long, invite Him to go with me to work. And remembering that He is the friend that sticks closer than a Brother, I didn’t forget he was with me or ignore Him.

Scripture says we have to become as little children to enter Heaven, and talking to no one with me that you can see and asking Him questions and expecting a response was what I did, but as a child. What do children do? They play! So my prayers turned from a monologue into a Dialogue! So I made a “game” of it. You ever play the floor is lava or seen kids play it? This is REAL.

The rules are, the Lord wants to talk to me, so when I ask a question, I pause, and listen. The first thing that pops into my head is the answer from Him. (The floor is lava!) and it was very twilight zone Brother. Sometimes a scripture would pop into my head, or a thought sort of. Then I would take what I got and compare it to the question that I had sked to see if it was a viable answer to my question. I did this for maybe 2 full weeks and at I figured at least I am seeking the Lord and talking to Him, showing Him my attention. He loves that. After a couple weeks it was like, it turned into a literal conversation! And He began talking to me. I understood that I was hearing the still small voice of God. He gave me good answers! One time I asked the wrong question and I should consider this…

At work I am (was, retired now) an HVAC professional. Furnaces, A/C’s, Roof Top Units and so forth. So I’d get 5-8 calls in the morning and drive jobsite to jobsite fixing things. I’d talk to Him between calls at jobs and (I would leave Him in the truck to go work?!)…until one day He got tired of waiting in the truck so I…had trouble on this job, lol. I couldn’t pin it down exactly what was wrong because the board was sending mixed signals. I felt frustrated and, I needed the Lord’s help! I knew immediately it was a mistake to not invite Him in to my jobs! I invited Him in and told Him I need help, and instantly He was there but I couldn’t see Him. And He let me know what to do to make it work and told me what was going on with it, it had two small problems, lol. I never missed a job where He wasn’t right there beside me again! Mistake! I also discovered how really easy it is to be having a conversation with the Lord inside of me while at the same time talking to a Customer!

That was the summer somehow I got a whole bunch of calls to different churches around town! You see, I figured out that, I was NOT the lead man with the Lord with me! I was the helper. The Lord was the lead man. On calls to churches, He was also the Customer and the Owner! I’ve done some good work in His houses being His helper!

It got easier to be able to tell the difference between my thoughts and the Lord speaking. He does not talk like I think or speak myself. He has a better way of talking and it’s obvious now.

So it all boils down to getting to know the person of Jesus. To many He will say one day, I never knew you. I thought, hey I’d rather be known as the child who wont shut up instead of I never knew you. I know I am being transformed. It is apparent and I pay attention. I auto react differently that I used to, I mean, my whole life it it one way and now I react differently. Am I rapture ready? I hope so.

I dunno if anything I’ve said may help you or not, but it was my experience. Nowadays I wont step out onto the street unless He is with me. Hope this helps.

Sometimes when i ask God questions or ask God for a decision to be made i have a trhought that popped up on my mind im not sure if tthats God or just my brain sometimes i convice my self that its God talking to me but somehow my heart refused that it was him or like i cannot believe that its God talkingf to me

i see thank you so much

and also how do you feel God’s love??

The Bible tells us we can’t know when Christ will return, but that we should seek to be ready. Jesus also tells us not to be afraid, though: “Let not your heart be troubled” (John 14:1). Just as Jesus sought to comfort his disciples with this phrase before his death and absence from them, he desires to comfort us and doesn’t want us to live in fear of his return, but in joyful abiding in him. Your faith will never be 100%, but Jesus’ work on the cross and his love and care for you will always be 100% there. He will never leave you or forsake you, so that is something you can be sure of. Even faith as small as a seed is enough for him to use and grow. Ask, seek, knock—he will answer. Praying for you to know his peace and joy as you seek to live each day for him. :folded_hands:

Hello @yee111
You are asking honest questions. Some of which the world has been asking since nearly the beginning. It may take me more than just this one post. Life on Earth is like everything else on Earth. Life on Earth is temporal. It is for a time, then it is on to the next stage of existence. Death is as natural as birth. It is as natural as living itself. It will come for all living things.

As a Child of God, you know what to expect. You should understand that when that time comes for you, it is not a punishment. It is not a horrific event. It comes because it must. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

In other words, Death will come. There is an appointed time. We all must face our immortality in this temporal world. Do not fear what comes next. Jesus tells us what comes next.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3

Now this is after the Tribulation. The end time. But I want you to think about this. “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” And “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Imagine that. It is a far better place to which we go than this of which we leave. A place where God Himself will wipe away our tears. A place where there will be no more sorrow, pain, sickness, or death itself. How can you be sure you will get there? Jesus.

First, you must remember that because of one man, we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We are born into sin. We are born into the family of the devil. We are not all children of God. We are all God’s creations. But not all Children. In John 3:15-18, we read this.

"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

So when a Child of God “dies,” what really happens is that they are transformed. They leave the physical and become Spiritual. They go to a place where God Himself will wipe away their tears. Who is better off? Us? Or them? I submit to you, they are. By far.

Death is a time of celebration for a child of God. Of course, you will have sorrow. That is normal. I get sad if someone I love takes a trip. I miss them. I know I will see them again in time. But I miss them. When a loved one dies, they are simply taking a very long trip.

But the good news is, if they are a child of God, as you are, you will see them again. Celebrate their passing and look forward to seeing them again. Live on and seek first the Kingdom of God, continuing to spread the Word. Your time will come, as will the end of everything. As a Child of God, these things are not to be feared but looked forward to.
Peter
Continued…

If anyone, and I mean anyone, tells you they know the day or the time, they are lying. How can I be so sure? Because no one can know. God said so. Want proof? The entire chapter of Matthew 24 is a good place to start. Let’s focus on Verse 36-39

"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”

Stop. NO ONE knows except for God the Father. Even when Jesus, this is who is talking, even when Jesus was in the flesh, He did not know, because the flesh serves the world. Are you following?

“For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

What does this mean? Does it mean everyone sells or gives away their stuff and walks out into the field and waits for Jesus? No. Jesus explains more clearly.

“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:36-39

People will simply be living their lives. Then it will happen. On a normal, nothing special Tuesday. Or perhaps a Monday, Thursday? Truth is, it could be today. However, it will not be while everyone is waiting and looking for it.

Jesus also told us this.

“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen.” Revelation 16:15, Matthew 24:43, 1 Thessalonians 5:2.

No one knows. If anyone tells you that they know the hour or the day, they are lying to you. Even if they mean well, they are lying to you. If Jesus did not know while HE was in the flesh, then how does someone else, anyone, know? Are they greater than our Lord? Of course not.

Will Jesus return? YES! Absolutely. He even told us what He is doing between leaving and returning. He said this.

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am, you may be also.” John 14:3

If you are a child of God, Jesus is returning for you. When the time comes, you will be with Him. God’s timing. Not some “influencer,” or Joe Schmoe on social media. God alone.

Now, what about this other thing that I heard making the rounds? Jesus already returned secretly, but don’t worry, He will be back. I do not even know where people get this stuff. When this happens, do not worry. You will not miss it.

“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.” Revelation 1:7

If you have to, read that again. “Every eye will see him.” It will not be a secret. Will the Rapture happen Pre, mid, post Trib? No one knows. I suggest that we simply follow what Jesus says. Occupy until He comes. Live your life, invest in the Kingdom, and look for His return in the meantime.

“I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.” Revelation 3:11

Of course, if you are not His, then this is indeed a scary and dark time coming. Do you want assurance? Do you want peace? Do you want to stop doubting that Jesus is preparing a place for you and will come again to receive you? Say this prayer, right now, in your own words. Let us pray.

Oh, heavenly Father, Lord God. I am a sinner. I know this. I know there is nothing I can do to change that. But I know you can. I accept Jesus’ sacrifice for me. I believed He rose from the dead. I repent of my sins. Please send the Spirit of Adoption into my life. Help me to get to know the real you. Save me. Please. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

That’s it. It is that simple. Now go tell someone what you have just done. “That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, You shall be saved.” Romans 10:9. You need to find a Church that God leads you to and be baptized the way Jesus said to be. You are now a Child of God. A New Creature. You “have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.” Colossians 3:10

No more fear. No more worry. It is what it is, it comes when it comes, and Jesus is Lord.
Peter
