Seeking for a consistent and committed individual and family devotional time with God.

I would first of all want to express gratitude for this privilege.

I am currently struggling with having a consistent daily devotional time with God as an individual and with my family as I use to a few years before relocating to another country. One main cause for this is due to my long hours at work (from 8am - 8pm), having to leave home at 6am and returning at 10pm, due to my work my work location to get the public bus. This I do 4 to 5 days every week on different days, including weekends.
I feel so much tired, sleepy and pains all through my body, when I get home, because of the nature of the work.

I am seeking for a way/ways I could be consistent and committed with my daily personal and family devotional life in the midst of these busy times. In Jesus’ name I ask, amen :folded_hands:.

I once studied for a upcoming exam on the bus. I had a long commute and I used that time to study. Can you do the same with prayer, Bible reading and meditation?

A suggestion for your personal daily devotional time is to use your travel time on public transport either by reading the bible on the bus or use an audio bible reading that you can listen to.

Alternatively or maybe while traveling home listen to downloaded sermons from online recordings.

For family devotions, are your children still not in bed or just going to bed when you return home, if so that is when you do a simple bible reading, ask a few questions about the passage and pray with them.
