As vaccine mandates have become more widespread in certain jobs, schools, and institutions, many believers are asking if religious exemptions are appropriate or even biblically supported. While no major Christian denomination outright forbids vaccines, some individuals feel strongly that their convictions before God prevent them from receiving certain medical treatments.

This raises tough questions: Can a personal conviction qualify as a “religious” exemption? What does it mean to claim a sincerely held belief? And how should Christians weigh public health concerns with individual conscience?

If you’ve considered a religious exemption—or wrestled with how faith should guide these medical decisions—this is a conversation worth having. How should Christians navigate this delicate issue with integrity and wisdom?

To learn more about the key legal and biblical points, read:

No, because it is not a religous or a Christian principle to not have a vaccination.
A case can be made for not having vacinations that have not been properly tested, not a view I hold, that is something those who hold that view will have to argue through the courts.

None of this has anything to do with religion. So no to a religious exemption.

The root of the problem here is that people don’t know who to trust. They are afraid.

So much mistrust has been sown that people can’t move forward. They would rather have everything be taken apart. That is truly tragic, the result of a generation that thrives on you tube, tik tok, and twitter.

The government has not always behaved transparently. Experiments were done to the American people, a clear sign of over reach. Clearly misdeeds have compounded mistrust.

Information must become unbiased, proven true and checked again. Old truths nedd to be reproven.
Credentials need to be posted and verified. Opinions seperated from proven truth and given less weight.

But I am of the mindset that we should blast all the satelites out of the sky. No more wi fi. No more internet. Clearly we misuse it. Its killing people. Its disturbing our collective minds.

Vaccines clearly work. People take them all the time. Just talk with someone who has taken the vaccine you are afraid of. All medications come with risks. The risks are posted.

We have to weigh the risks. No one should be forced. But we should at least prevent lives from being destroyed by our choices by seperating ourselves rather than spreading infections.

Hu,
I do believe that the parents should be the final arbitrator in the vaccination debate.
We do not live in a dictatorship.
Make sure they have all the information available.
Make it make sense to them
Explain how rare the side effects are. (Probably their biggest worry)
But yeah, the parents should have the final say.
Does a baby need the flu shot?
