Should Parents Be Allowed to Post Photos of Their Children Online Without Their Consent?

Many parents share pictures and videos of their children on social media, sometimes documenting their lives from birth through their teenage years.

But those children may grow up to discover that much of their childhood is already publicly available online.

Should parents have the right to share these moments as they choose, or should children have more say over what gets posted about them?

At what age do you think a child’s opinion about their online privacy should begin to matter?

I think it depends on what the parents are posting - some things would be inappropriate to post. At the same time, I don’t think parents should be forbidden from mentioning their children online.
