The idea of teachers wearing body cams sparks a lot of debate. Some argue it could ensure accountability and safety for both students and educators, while others worry about privacy concerns and the potential strain on teacher-student relationships. Should teachers be allowed—or even required—to wear body cams in the classroom? Would this measure enhance trust and security, or would it lead to unnecessary surveillance and complications?

Yes. Students assaulting teachers and sexual exploitation of students is a frequent issue. The body cam would help, but perhaps start as optional and see if data between users and no users shows significant differences.

Hi
Yes to body cams. I would take it a giant leap forward. Train teachers in the safe handling of firearms, and let the teachers that want to, carry a concealed weapon on campus. Veterans would be automatically qualified. That will give the children the best chance of survival when a person wants to do our children harm.

It’s been effective for police officers. I say-- Yes, to putting body cams on teachers as well.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
