Smile with enjoyment!

Everyone share a recent situation that made you laugh or smile. Doesnt have to be funny and there are no rules to what you share or how you share just what caused you to smile or laugh.

Today i woke up in jail like i have everyday for the past 2 years. When they served our breakfast i knew what it was before i opened it because i get the same thing everyday and have for the past 2 years. It never fails i get a peanut butter and jelly sandwitch, and when i opened it, it was what i knew it would be. It made me smile to myself in knowing because of this sandwitch that they served me at breakfast i wouldnt go to bed hungry. Sometimes we take the little things for granted, and i am grateful for all of Gods blessing.

I got a story for you. This is many years ago now. I was driving with a friend, and she was saying that if she really knew God was real, she would accept Jesus. We pulled up to a Bible Book Store, one of those that has a bunch of knick-knacks and such.

We went in and walked around. I was secretly looking for something I could say, “Look. There.” There is your proof God is real.” That did not happen. We meandered for a bit and left.

When we got back to the car, she said, “I really do want to believe.” I said, Well, then ask Him?” To my surprise, she did. Right then and there. I put the key in and turned it, but nothing happened. This was not a new thing. It was one of those cars that we tempremently and had to cool down before it would start again. Being hot out, we decided, well, the BBS was cool. So we went back in.

As soon as we walked in, she froze. I said, “What happened?” She just raised her hand and pointed. I looked up, and there was her name. Her FULL name. Hanging on the wall near the ceiling. I was two of those name plates, you know, that say things like “Peter means Rock.” ETC. I asked the clerk how much, and he said, “Those? Oh, sorry, those are not for sale. They are just samples that got mailed to me, and I liked the way they looked, so I blew them up and hung them.”

This was her full name, spelled the same. First and last. Hanging on the wall, near the ceiling {Closer to heaven}. She left without saying a word. Gave her life to Christ that day. Oh, and the car started with no problem. Now THAT made me smile.
