Spiritual Warfare and Politics

It was 2014. God’s plan was and is God’s Kingdom. I was working to build The Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God has particular values. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but given I had a year, who or what was most in the way? Secular Humanism. Engaging in Spiritual Warfare, working to build The Kingdom of God, through God, I discovered roots of problems, and how to uproot them.

  • We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Part of Spiritual Warfare has been a war of words, a war of thoughts. How does man perceive himself? How does man perceive God? Given The Greater Church was functioning well, perceptions should be shifted towards The Kingdom of God, and Kingdom of God values, where men are growing in faith. Given perceptions with shifting some other way…there may have been roots of problems. Those roots need to be pulled out.

The Truth hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss? Writing about Spiritual Warfare and politics, I am not looking to hurt. I am looking to build the Kingdom of God, and some people, in the process, may have their souls crushed. They were set up for failure by a sinful world, that was set against God. Christians are to reject The World.

Example -

Modern Liberalism - Believes that people are naturally good.

Christianity - Original Sin. Mankind has a fallen nature.

Philosophers in Modern Liberalism, they were atheists or occultists, rooted in Jeremy Bentham, and others, who knowingly created political philosophy that was set against God. A big part of growing in faith, a fundamental part, is someone acknowledging that they were a sinner, that they were less than, that they were missing the mark, towards repentance.

In general, everything that someone needed to understand God Almighty, it was present in Judea, Rome around 33 AD. Did a Philosopher help add to understanding, or take away from?

God is scary. Some people, particularly educated people, they may have known of God, and worked to hide God away. (Romans 1:18-25) Understanding this is part of Spiritual Warfare. Universities like Oxford or Harvard and Yale, they started out as Christian Institutions. Harvard more recently appointed an Atheist as their Head Chaplin.

Faith is a journey. There may be a journey of understanding here with God, through God, in prayer and reflection.
