I give praise and honor to God for my salvation and His mercy and grace. I am standing in the need of prayer for direction in starting over as I am recently laid off and divorced all within a few days. God is in control and has a plan. I am going to stay joyful through it all.

And keep in mind, God doesnt only save us FROM something, He saves us TO something better. Your days will get brighter my brother/sister!

God always has a plan. sometimes he takes everything from you to open your eyes and heart and to bring you closer to him. Just remember he is always with you and will not put you through anything you can not handle. Remain strong

I don’t think God takes things from us to open our eyes..or hear Him speak. God isn’t cruel. I’ve been struggling with thoughts near to this since Saturday. “Am I that deaf to your voice Lord, that it would take my mother suffering severe health issues to get me there? To be there for her? And would it take the sudden death of my dog, whom I loved dearly, as did my husband, family, friends and so many people in my community, to bring me home?” I had been asking God to make a way for me to go home. I’ve been staying with my son, DIL and grandson for over 3 months now to be closer to my mom. They all live 3 hours away from my home. My daughter lives 20 minutes from my home, and has a little 3 month old ball of joy..and a mountain of anxiety for her. So..I was driving back and forth to be there for everyone, and was so homesick when I wasn’t home. So, I started asking God to make a way for me to go home and still be able to take care of my mom, be there for my kids, my husband, and still be living in His will. Then, my dog died. And God showed up in my grief. He’s doing something. Actually, He said “I’m making room”. No idea what He’s making room for, but I know He’s doing something.
God is not cruel. He has a plan, and is doing something. It may seem like He’s taking everything away but He might actually be making a way. I just trust in Him, and keep praising and worshipping through it all. So, be encouraged! God is doing something in your life! God is working on something. I can hardly wait to find out what He’s doing!
God is with us. Be encouraged!
