Anything specific you’d recommend praying for myself or loved ones with birthdays coming up? Each year I pray that my family, friends, and I would grow more into the person God created each of us to be, but I’d love additional prayer ideas!
I found this one I love but would like some more to use to send to loved ones.
Dear Lord, on this day that we celebrate [Name] ‘s birth, I pray for blessings and joy for them in the coming year. You knew everything about [Name] before their birth, and You have a plan of prosperity and hope for their life! Let them feel confident and ready for the year ahead, knowing that You have an order to their steps and a purpose for their life. Help them to find joy in every circumstance in life, knowing that You work all things out for good. I thank You for [Name] , for loving them with unconditional love, and for the promises You have spoken over her life, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Here is a birthday prayer I use for myself each year and one that I use to bless loved ones!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of life and for bringing me to another year. I am grateful for Your constant love, protection, and guidance through every season—both the joyful moments and the challenging ones. I know you use both to make me into the person you want me to be. As I celebrate today, I ask for Your wisdom to walk faithfully in the path You have laid out for me.
Help me grow in grace, deepen my faith, and strengthen my relationships with those around me. Let this new year be one of learning, joy, and purpose, filled with moments that bring me closer to You. Teach me to trust Your timing and to embrace each day with gratitude, knowing that Your plans are always good. May I reflect Your love in all I do, bringing glory to Your name. Amen.
